The Chiorino Heritage Center opens its doors

Welcoming more than 500 visitors, Chiorino has inaugurated its Heritage Center in Biella, a new exhibition space created to celebrate the Company’s 120th anniversary and preserve the legacy of a business that has been shaped by four generations of the Chiorino family

Created to preserve and share the company’s industrial and family heritage, the Heritage Center offers an immersive journey through 120 years of innovation, entrepreneurship, and international growth.

Developed in collaboration with exhibition design studio Mind the Gap, the project transforms Chiorino’s historical archive into a dynamic experience that connects past, present, and future.

At the heart of the exhibition is the Narrative Belt, a distinctive design element that guides visitors through the company’s evolution. Inspired by Chiorino’s core products, the belt becomes a storytelling device, tracing the journey from the leather-processing origins of the business to today’s advanced conveyor and process solutions serving industries around the world.

The exhibition brings together historical documents, photographs, objects, materials, and multimedia installations, offering a comprehensive overview of the company’s development across four generations of family leadership. The experience is enriched by the photographic and narrative work of Edoardo Delille and Luca Masia, created for the book "Chiorino. One Hundred and Twenty Years in Business."

The exhibition unfolds through a series of thematic sections that guide visitors through the Company’s story: Origins and the Family Archive, featuring documents, photographs and testimonies that trace the history of the Chiorino family and the Company’s early decades; Crafting Materials, dedicated to technical expertise and contemporary materials; Chiorino Horizon, exploring the Group’s international dimension; and Future, a space focused on innovating challenges.

With the Heritage Center, Chiorino has created a space that celebrates its history while inspiring future generations, strengthening the connection between our people, our community, and the values that continue to guide its growth.

The Chiorino Heritage Center, located in the plant of Via S. Agata 9, Biella, can be visited on Saturday mornings by appointment at: heritagecenter@chiorino.com
