Presentation of the book
"A century in motion. Chiorino in Biella, continuity and innovation."

On March 24, CHIORINO launched a series of events to celebrate its Centenary with the presentation of the historic book, "A century in motion. Chiorino in Biella, continuity and innovation".

The Chiorino family wished to record the company's history so as to remember and pay tribute to those who contributed their efforts in order to bring the company to where it is today. The family wished to remember a tannery established in Biella to make drive belts, mainly for textile industry machinery - a company that had to change line on more than one occasion in order to secure its future, radically changing technologies, products and customers.

The official presentation of the book took place in the splendid setting of the Cloister of San Sebastiano, the seat of the Museum of the Territory of Biella; the speakers were the Group's Chairman, Dr. Gregorio Chiorino and the authors, Dr. Guido Corbetta and Dr. Michele d'Alessandro of the Bocconi University.
