CHIORINO IS EMAS CERTIFIED

February 9, 2006 CHIORINO obtained the European validation EMAS. The European system of Ecological handling (EMAS = Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) certifies the validity of the environmental policy of the Company with respect to the territory surrounding its location.

It is just very near to the celebration of its Centenary that CHIORINO scored another important objective.
The EMAS validation recognizes and certifies the commitment of a company towards an ever-increasing level of integration between the environment and the company, which activates itself with instruments and inspecting procedures promoting consistant improvements, for the respect and the protection of the environment.
